Chaos erupted in Malindi as matatu drivers, allegedly incited by local politicians, staged a violent protest that left several injured and property destroyed. The demonstration, which began as a blockade outside the Malindi municipal offices, quickly spiralled out of control, disrupting operations and traffic for hours.
